Pinterest Account Information

When you connect your Pinterest account to our application, we collect and store:

  • Your Pinterest username and profile information
  • Access tokens that allow us to post pins on your behalf
  • Board information (names, IDs) that you select for automated posting

Product Information

We process information about your products to create Pinterest pins, including:

  • Product titles and descriptions
  • Product images (mockups from your print-on-demand provider)
  • Links to your eBay listings

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Authenticate your Pinterest account via OAuth 2.0
  • Automatically create pins on your selected Pinterest boards
  • Generate AI-powered captions and hashtags for your pins
  • Track which products have been posted to Pinterest
  • Maintain your connection to Pinterest (token refresh)

Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. Your information is only shared with:

  • Pinterest: We send pin content (images, titles, descriptions, links) to Pinterest's API to create pins on your behalf
  • OpenAI: Product titles and descriptions are processed by AI to generate engaging Pinterest captions (no personal information is sent)

Data Storage and Security

Your Pinterest access tokens are stored securely in our encrypted database. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Disconnect your Pinterest account at any time from the Settings page
  • Request deletion of your stored Pinterest tokens
  • Revoke our application's access via your Pinterest account settings

Data Retention

We retain your Pinterest connection information for as long as you keep your account connected. When you disconnect your Pinterest account, we immediately delete your access tokens from our database.

Pinterest API Usage

Our application uses the Pinterest API v5 in compliance with Pinterest's Developer Guidelines and Terms of Service. We only request the minimum permissions necessary (boards:read, boards:write, pins:read, pins:write) to provide our service.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
